Because typewriters are rather fragile, preparing a typewriter for shipping is a slow process. As such, it tends to be rather expensive, due to the weight of typewriters (they tend to be on the heavier side, some weighing close to 20kg for a desktop typewriter!), as well as the materials and time invested in packing in order to be certain your typewriter is safely packed and will not be damaged during shipping. However, the cost is most definitely worth it to ensure that your machine arrives safely!

Damaged Items
- If the product arrives damaged,which Rarely Happens you must photograph the item and the damaged packaging, directly inform the courier, if possible at the door, and contact us to sort the issue.
- To support your claim, you will need to provide proof of the damage, including the external packaging.
- All typewriters are securely packed for long and safe journey however on very rare occasions because of a rough handling in transit package can be damaged.
