Here we have a 1960’s, working Olympia Splendid 33 vintage, manual portable typewriter finished in a bright red with cream coloured keys. This typewriter really stands out and is hard to find in this colour!, complete with original matching red carry case.
After some research on the serial number, it looks like the typewriter was produced in the 1960’s in Western Germany.
Even though this Olympia Splendid 33 typewriter was made in the 1960’s, it works very well! The comfortable keys are responsive, the backspace, carriage return lever, the bell, the shift keys, carriage lock, margin setters, ribbon selector (for the colour change), the carriage release lever, the paper guide and the paper release lever all work as they should.
This typewriter has been fully cleaned, serviced, and a new ribbon fitted and is ready for many more years of typing pleasure

The overall condition is excellent. The typewriter types well and is generally in a clean condition. There are minor signs of use present.
